Replaced our water heater the same day we called. Clear quote up front, no surprises, and they cleaned up completely.
Response from Beacon Plumbing & Heating
Thanks Dana! Your new unit is registered for warranty — the paperwork is in your HomeHelp records.

Great work on the basement drain. Arrived a little later than scheduled but kept me updated the whole time.
Response from Beacon Plumbing & Heating
Appreciate the patience, Marcus — the job ahead of yours ran long and we should have called sooner.

What makes up your profile
Everything you fill in on your profile screen is what homeowners see — and it decides which searches you show up in.
Verification badges
License, insurance and ID checks turn into badges homeowners can see at a glance.
Portfolio of real work
Before-and-after photos grouped into projects, with the scope and location you choose to share.
Services and service area
The categories and ZIP codes you cover decide which homeowner searches you appear in.
Response time and hours
Your average response time is measured from real leads, so fast replies get rewarded.
How reviews are submitted and managed
Other platforms let anyone post and force you to live with it. On HomeHelp you read it, respond to it, then decide whether it appears on your public profile.
1. The customer is invited
After a job is marked complete, the homeowner gets a review request by email or text. Only people tied to a real job on HomeHelp can leave a native review — no anonymous drive-by ratings.
2. It lands in your queue
New reviews arrive in the Pending tab of your dashboard. Nothing appears on your public profile until you act on it.
3. You respond and publish
Write a public reply, then publish. Your response shows directly under the review so future customers see how you handle feedback.
4. Or keep it private
You are never forced to publish something inaccurate or abusive. Hidden reviews stay in your dashboard so you can respond privately or publish later.
Common questions
Can I see my own profile the way homeowners see it?
Yes. Your profile management screen has a Preview tab that renders your live public page on desktop, tablet and mobile.
Do imported Google reviews work the same way?
No. Google reviews are read-only and shown exactly as Google has them. Only native HomeHelp reviews pass through your moderation queue.
Does hiding a review hurt my ranking?
No. There is no punishment grade for unpublished reviews. Your visible rating is based on what is published.
Who can leave a HomeHelp review?
A homeowner connected to a completed job, lead or agreement with you. That keeps competitor and bot reviews off your profile.
Is a profile free?
Yes, a basic listing is free. Verified Pro and Premium tiers add badges, more photos, agreements and analytics.
