Common questions
Is HomeHelp a home healthcare service?
No. HomeHelp is a coordination platform — we help families organize the home, services, and people involved in aging safely at home. We are not a healthcare provider and do not deliver clinical care.
Do you employ caregivers?
No. HomeHelp coordinates with licensed contractors, service providers, and, where relevant, third-party home-care and home-health agencies. Care is delivered by those partners; HomeHelp is the layer that keeps everyone aligned.
Does insurance cover HomeHelp?
Currently no. Some services coordinated through HomeHelp may be reimbursable via long-term care insurance or Medicare Advantage supplemental benefits — we'll help you identify those where applicable, but we don't bill insurance directly.
Can multiple family members access the same home?
Yes. Invite a spouse, siblings, adult children, a caretaker, or a property manager. Each person has a role and sees the same shared tasks, appointments, and history.
What areas do you serve?
The checklist, planning, and family-coordination features work anywhere in the U.S. Verified contractor and service-provider availability varies by ZIP — we'll tell you honestly what's available in the home's area.
Do you handle medical equipment?
We help coordinate delivery, installation, and complementary home modifications (for example, clearing the space for a hospital bed or installing grab bars near a walker route). We do not provide clinical support or interpret medical devices.
