Reputation management, on your terms
Reviews from customers are very important. Other services allow reviews from anyone and demand that you respond. HomeHelp Reviews are a better way. You read it, respond to it, then decide whether it appears on your public profile. No surprises. No rating system grade that penalizes you. Respond when you have the time.
How the review system works
A customer submits a review
Homeowners and property managers review you from your public profile. Reviews tied to a real HomeHelp project get a Verified Project badge.
It lands in your Pending queue
Nothing is visible on your public profile until you take action. New reviews wait in the Pending tab of Reputation Management.
You respond (optional)
Add a public response before publishing. Your reply appears directly under the review.
You verify the customer, respond and publish
Publish to show the review on your public profile. You are in control.
Three simple states
Your dashboard organizes reviews into tabs so nothing gets lost.
Pending
New reviews waiting on you. Not visible publicly.
Published
Live on your public profile, with your response if you added one.
Hidden
Kept private. Still visible to you, never to homeowners.
Ratings that reflect real work
Verified Project badges tell homeowners a review came from an actual job, not an anonymous drive-by.
Badges you earn automatically
Verified Pro, Top Rated, and job milestones appear on your profile as you hit them.
Better leads over time
Published reviews and responses lift profile conversion, so the same traffic produces more calls.
Protection from bad-faith reviews
You are never forced to publish something inaccurate or abusive.
Your voice on the record
A calm, specific response often matters more to homeowners than the star count.
One place for everything
Native HomeHelp reviews and imported Google reviews live side by side in your dashboard.
Common questions
Can I hide a negative review?
Yes. You control what appears on your public profile. Hidden reviews stay in your dashboard so you can respond privately, publish later, or leave them hidden.
Do Google reviews work the same way?
No. Imported Google reviews are read-only and shown as-is from Google. Only native HomeHelp reviews go through your moderation queue.
What counts as a Verified Project review?
A review submitted by a customer connected to a completed project, estimate, or invoice in HomeHelp. Those carry a Verified Project badge.
Does responding help?
Yes. Profiles with responses convert better because homeowners can see how you handle issues, not just the score.
How do badges get earned?
Automatically, from your activity: Verified Pro (license and insurance verified), First Review, Top Rated (4.5+ with 25+ reviews), and job-count milestones.
