GoThe Recommended Path
Follow these in order, or jump to whichever step fits where you are right now.
2 minutes
Tell HomeHelp about your home — address, age, size, and the systems you have (HVAC, roof, water heater, etc.). This powers everything else: personalized maintenance reminders, AI advice tuned to your home, and accurate cost estimates.
On demand
Use the AI Assistant (or voice) to troubleshoot issues, get step-by-step DIY guidance, and estimate costs. Upload a photo of a leaky faucet or a cracked wall and get an instant read on what's going on and what to do next.
5 minutes
Create shared to-do lists for the household. Assign tasks to family members, set due dates, and track everything in one place. The system-based categories match how homes actually work — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, exterior.
3 minutes
Set recurring schedules for seasonal and system-based maintenance. Get smart reminders before due dates, sync with Google Calendar, and let HomeHelp generate a preventive care plan tailored to your home's age and systems.
10 minutes
Turn a to-do item into a full project. Set a budget, upload photos, build a task checklist, and track progress through the Plan → Bids → Build → Records stages. Get AI cost estimates and material lists as you go.
As needed
When a job is beyond DIY, search verified local contractors, compare bids side by side, and message them directly through HomeHelp. Invite contractors you already trust to your 'My Contractors' list for quick access.
Ongoing
Document work as it happens. Upload before photos, log progress, and capture the finished result. Before/after sliders and a permanent project record make it easy to show value, satisfy warranties, and plan future work.
Ongoing
HomeHelp becomes the permanent memory of your home. Store documents, warranties, service history, and inspection data. When you sell, hand it all off to the next owner with a single shareable report — and inherit records when you buy.
